Sarah Weaver : Composer

Walter Thompson and Sarah Weaver will create a Soundpainting in duo with The Walter Thompson Orchestra. The Walter Thompson Orchestra is multidisciplinary with musicians, actors, and dancers, including both new performers and long-time members. Soundpainting is a multidisciplinary live composing sign language for musicians, actors, dancers, and visual artists. Presently the language comprises more than 1500 gestures that are signed by the Soundpainter (composer) to indicate the type of material desired of the performers. The Soundpainting language was created by Walter Thompson in Woodstock, New York in 1974.
